As an animal mother myself, pet portraits are one of the things I love to create most. It's an absolute honor to be able to make something so meaningful- oftentimes these works are given as gifts, and hearing about the recipient's reactions always makes my heart burst with joy. It's a true privilege to be able to bring such happiness to others!
Here's how the process unfolds once an order is placed:
1. I will contact you for a reference photo of the pet/pets you want drawn. A little story or cute notes about the pet friend's personality is always helpful also!
2. I email back some ideas of how I would like to draw it, with consideration to what would look best in the final drawing.
3. Once you choose an idea, I start drawing! Depending on the complexity, it usually takes between one to two weeks, and will send photo updates of the progress if you like. Sometimes a surprise is preferred, it's up to you!
4. Final approval- I send a pic when I consider it done. If no changes need to be made, a final fixative is applied and it gets sent out right away.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to send me a message! I would be glad to answer any questions you might have.
